**Role Description/Criteria**

**Mathematics Leader - Position of Leadership (POL2) for 2026 - 2027**

The **Mathematics Curriculum Leader** at Queen of Peace Parish Primary School is a key member of the **school leadership team**, responsible for leading excellence in mathematics teaching and learning across the school. The successful applicant will bring strong curriculum knowledge, demonstrated instructional leadership, and a deep commitment to the mission of Catholic education.

The Mathematics Leader will work in alignment with:

- The **MACS 2030 Vision**:_Forming Lives to Enrich the World_**:

- The **MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement**, grounded in cognitive science and evidence-informed pedagogy
- The **strategic direction of Queen of Peace Parish Primary School**, as set by the Principal and the Leadership Team.

This is, primarily, an out of classroom position. The successful applicant will be employed as a classroom teacher with this POL covering the 2026 and 2027 school years.

Remuneration is based on the CEMEA 2022 and experience.
