
Primary Teacher

The College is seeking a permanent full-time Primary School Teacher to join our team.
**As a member of our Primary Department, your responsibilities will include**:
- Supporting the Augustinian Catholic culture of the College
- Providing an exemplary in-class experience for students
- Utilising modern pedagogical approaches to deliver differentiated learning to students at all levels
- Engaging with parents, psychologists and pastoral team to ensure individual student needs are catered for
- Classroom supervision and behaviour management
- Managing student assessments and tracking academic progress
- Managing administrative requirements including report writing, parent teacher meetings and marking
- Working effectively with the Head of Primary to implement the aims and practices of the Primary and College
- Remaining up to date with teaching standards and pedagogical practices by actively participating in a range of professional development
- Be willing to contribute to the College's academic, spiritual and co-curricular life.
**To be successful in the role you will have**:
- Strong experience in teaching Stage 3
- A Certificate in Religious Education
- Required qualifications to teach in NSW schools, or ability to obtain
- A commitment to the Catholic and St Augustine's educational values
- A commitment to child safety
- The ability to work collaboratively with peers and leadership
- A commitment to ongoing personal professional development

We pay above-market rates, based on proficiency levels within our Multi-Enterprise Agreement. ($92,420-$132,758 base salary)
