Demolition Supervisor

**About the Business.**

Furnace Solutions is a unique provider of demolition and maintenance solutions for the mining, minerals and metals industry globally. Our Adelaide Office currently has a full-time permanent position for an experienced demolition supervisor.

**About the Role.**

This role will primarily be a working supervisor in our demolition team in an industry leader of remote-controlled demolition equipment in various industries.

**Key Tasks/Responsibilities**:

- Adelaide based role with flexibility to work away on jobs site as required.
- Lead a small team to efficiently delivery project scope of work.
- Daily allocation of equipment, staff, management of service and procurement, operational advise to labourers/operator.
- Reports on project progress, offers viable solutions and opportunities as they arise and liaise with clients on the job.
- Assist the estimating team with estimation & quotes for demolition works (If required)
- Have a mechanical aptitude to perform maintenance/repairs of plant and equipment
- Carrying out detailed inspections on our plant and equipment
- Ensure workplace safety standards are met
- Operate equipment in line with relevant operating procedures

**To be successful for the role**
- Supervisor experience in a similar role
- Previous experience with excavator and skid steer operations
- Positive and can do attitude
- Be flexible, reliable, hardworking and a good team player
- Driver’s license and reliable transport
- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
- Computing skills in MS office Word & Excel
- Able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug and Alcohol test
- Hold current licenses/tickets for Skid Steer and Excavator (preferred but not essential)
