About the opportunity

The EMH Discovery Clinician provides intensive clinical assessment, treatment and support services to clients who are in acute psychiatric crisis who present to Werribee Mercy Hospital ED, or the MMH Triage service. The EMH Discovery Clinician with the support and supervision of Senior EMHS clinicians forms an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team and is required to provide highly responsive and flexible service to consumers and carers, while upholding a high level of professionalism.

The EMH Discovery Clinician provides specialist clinical services, referral and advice to support clients and the broader community via a comprehensive psychiatric assessment process.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- Registration with AHPRA or eligibility for membership for the Australian Social Workers- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
