**Life-Gate is seeking an energetic and passionate Op Shop Store Manager for 10-15 hours per week. This is a volunteer (unpaid) position that will provide leadership and direction to our fantastic Op Shop volunteer team.**

This is a volunteer position with great potential to provide you with practical workplace experience.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Working within a small and friendly team
- Providing leadership and direction for our Op Shop volunteers
- Initiating marketing and sales strategies to increase fundraising profits
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Op Shop (including maintaining a clean and safe store front, rostering)
- Responding to customer concerns
- Managing requests for community donations of clothing and goods

**About you**:

- An organised individual with a problem-solving approach to tasks;
- Skilled in Canva (or other graphics platform) for social media posts and marketing - desirable but not essential;
- Willingness to learn and a team player;
- Attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal;
- The ability to inspire, motivate and unify a passionate and willing team of volunteers;
- Experience with Square payment systems - desirable but not essential.
