**Sales assistant position is now available at WLH.** We require someone who is open, friendly, and engaging in their interactions with people. As a strong and confident communicator, you make clients feel valued and appreciated, while also being able to deal with ‘difficult’ clients appropriately. We do require you to know our products and the background of the business which we will provide training on. Applicants should be highly motivated and constantly looking for ways to do their job better. It’s important that applicates are enthusiastic about the products they sell and have a proactive approach to expanding their product knowledge. A strong selling ability is also a very important quality. A good sales assistant should be skilled in the art of steering a conversation, reading non-verbal cues and effectively closing the sale.

**Some Key points**:

- describing product features and benefits to help customers make the correct decisions.
- arranging products in the showroom according to visual merchandising standards
- Client Meeting to discuss their event needs.
- processing product returns from Clients.
- point-of-sale duties, such as converting your quotes into active bookings.
- meeting sales targets
- keeping the office tidy and well presented
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- strong interpersonal skills
- outstanding customer service skills
- An eye for design and detail.
- flexibility and a willingness to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. This is a must for the events industry.
- ability to work as part of a team.
- good computer literacy.

**Salary**: $20.33 - $35.45 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wetherill Park, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 2 years (preferred)
- Retail: 2 years (preferred)
- Sales: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
