Reporting to the Director Group Internal Audit, this is a wonderful opportunity to join a team undergoing change and transformation.

**Your day in the life of an internal audit manager at Optus,**
- Perform internal audits and deliver assurance and consulting services in accordance with our Internal Audit Methodology and professional internal auditing standards.
- Effectively leverage technology tools and data analytics to optimise audit coverage and efficiency and to acquire valuable insights.
- Provide quality audit reports with practical recommendations which reflects the context in which the organisation operates and in line with best practices.
- Analyse management action plans to ensure that risks will be controlled within the Board’s tolerance levels and follow-up audit findings to ensure adequacy and timeliness of implementation.
- Project manage delivery of audits within agreed resource and time budgets.

**Your skills to pay the bills,**
- Prior experience in assurance, risk and controls with relevant qualifications from professional bodies CIA, CPA, CISA or equivalent.
- A mix of analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for integrity in financial and operational processes.
- Ability to communicate and influence across a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external.
- Strong problems solver with the ability to think laterally.
- Team-player but able to work and make decisions on their own within their work boundaries.
- It is highly advantageous to have proficiency in using audit software and data analytics tools, and experienced in process improvement.
