Community Care Worker

**Positions Available**:

- Working with our Disability participants and Aged Care Clients in Kingscliff, Casuarina, Cudgen,Banora Point and the Tweed Shire.

**Right at Home** is currently seeking **Community Care** **Workers** who are enthusiastic and passionate about providing a caring, compassionate, friendly and respectful high-quality service.

**Duties and Responsibilities include**:

- Social Support/ Transportation for social activites
- Shopping/ Groceries
- Travelling to medical appointments
- Personal Care: showering, dressing, grooming
- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning and laundry
- Meal Preparation Assistance
- Supporting Clients with complex and/ or challenging needs
- Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting

**Essential Criteria**:

- Australian National Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Australian Drivers License and Comprehensive Insurance
- Covid-19 vaccination certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check/ Yellow card (can be obtained upon hiring)

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services

**About you**:

- Ability to provide personal, domestic and companion care
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Reliable and dependable
- Passion for care
- Willingness to travel distance and work in various shifts
- Comfortable using technology (i.e mobile app) for accessing rosters and recording client notes/ feedback

- Afternoon shift

- Flexible hours

- Public holidays

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Australian Police Check (required)
- First Aid Certification (required)
- CPR Certification (required)
