Dtg Digital Printer

PrintLocker Custom T-Shirts are currently recruiting for a reliable and hard-working Direct-to-Garment (DTG) operator with an amazing eye for detail. Working as part of a close-knit team, we’re looking for a happy individual who learns quickly and thrives under pressure to join our Alphington team. **This is a full-time position, 5 days per week working either 7am-4pm and 2pm-10pm shifts** however we're a flexible workplace and open to negotiating days/hours.

As a PrintLocker DTG operator you will be responsible for setting up and operating Kornit digital printers according to written and/or verbal instructions and within quality and safety guidelines. You will use a computer to access our DTG software which will set up the print file and Kornit machine for printing. In this fast-paced production role you will produce high quality custom garments and accessories. You will be fully trained and supported by our friendly team of experienced Kornit operators.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive production orders and job assignments. 
- Check job order to verify garment style and quantity to be printed.
- Solve imaging problems and adjust mechanical operation of device.
- Set up printer according to established company guidelines, safety and job requirements.
- Print orders maintaining optimum production rate and quality standard within company and customer guidelines. 
- Maintain proper cleanliness of printer, workstation and immediate area.

**Qualifications**:

- Basic computer skills required.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Dexterity - ability to load align garments according to standards.
- Ability to work at a fast pace.
- Willingness and ability to stand for duration of 8+ hour shifts, 4 days per week.
- Background in print preferred, not essential. 
- Experience with printing/Direct to Garment machines preferred, not essential.
- Ability to work overtime hours as required during busy periods.
