Housekeeper for Busy Family in Grange, Brisbane

A busy professional family with three school age children is seeking an experienced, mature Housekeeper/Cook who is able to work autonomously in all aspects of the residence.

We are looking for someone who loves to clean and has a genuine desire to work in a varied role which will include all domestic duties such as laundry detail, ensuring all areas of the home are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and someone who is well versed in preparing a variety of evening meals to suit the family’s preferences.

General duties will include:
Ensuring the residence is kept clean, organised and tidy at all times

Changing bed linen and towels

Cleaning kitchen and appliances

A thorough knowledge of all laundry duties including delicates (washing, ironing, folding)

Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering as required

Maintain clean and sanitary bathroom areas

Have good communication skills

Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude

Have good organisational skills

Be familiar with correct cleaning techniques and laundry care

Have previous long-term experience

Hold a Current Police Check and WWCC (or be prepared to complete both)

Have good references from past employers

Hours: Flexibility is available but up to 38 hours per week are available should you want full-time

Hourly rate: $40.00 + Superannuation and leave entitlements

Start Date: ASAP

This is a long term, permanent position.

**Salary**: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour

- Housekeeping: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
