Our client are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable maintenance technician to join there maintenance/engineering team. If you are driven, curious, take pride in your work and enjoy working with mínimal supervision, this may be your ideal role.
**JOB SUMMARY**
Your primary role is ensuring the continuous operation of the plant and equipment through regular maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
Your secondary role is assisting with and/or taking responsibility for projects.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Quickly and efficiently respond to breakdowns
- Correct and efficient plant and equipment set-up
- Contribute to improving plant and equipment efficiency and reliability
- Maintain spare parts register and stock levels
- Maintenance and project tasks as directed by the Plant Engineer
**OTHER FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist in factory trials
- Ensure all work practices follow legal and company OH&S and Food Safety policies
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment
**INHERENT REQUIREMENTS**
- Safely and competently use all maintenance tools and equipment
- Reasonable physical condition including ability to lift 15kgs; kneel, bend and squat; stand for long periods; walk around worksite; climb stairs and ladders; work in confined spaces

- Commitment to company professional and ethical standards and a diverse, inclusive workplace
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Work constructively as part of a team
**HOURS OF DUTY**
This role operates on a 38 hour week spread over 4 days with normal working hours between 6:00am and 4:00pm and a rotating RDO. RDOs are able to be changed occasionally depending on production needs and with prior approval from the Plant Engineer. Hours may vary depending on production needs and project timelines
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
