**Overall Job Summary**
This position is responsible for supporting the retail operations of the business by delivering customer orders as well as assisting with the receipting, warehousing and movement of products. In addition, we expect all member of the Brookies team to do the following:

- Support the team and be an active in helping with other departments as the need arises.
- Conduct assigned tasks with energy and enthusiasm - be part of creating an enjoyable place to work.

**Job Duties (Essential Functions)**
As a Delivery Driver it is essential that you be available, flexible, adaptable and service
- oriented, as you must be able to fulfil all the following requirements:

- Provide a high level of communication in the delivery process.
- Manage safe loading and unloading of stock being delivered.
- Look for opportunities to increase sales with customers while onsite.
- Assist in warehousing at the store from time to time. (Including: follow inventory receival processes, including stock counting, unpacking and displaying delivered goods. Keeping warehouse and bulk storage areas clean and well organised. Ensure safe operation of lifting equipment. Cleaning yard and warehouse areas from time to time. Customer service including: Price check requests & Loading customer orders)
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work scheduled shifts with the ability to work varied hours, days, weekends and overtime as dictated by business needs.
- Take the initiative to support all departments.
- Team Members also may be required to perform other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Customer service experience
- Experience in warehousing or retail storage
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Forklift licence
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience: _ Experience in retail business operations is vital.
- Education: _A high school certificate or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.
- Professional Certifications: _ Forklift ticket.
- Other knowledge, skills or abilities: _
- Farming, pet/equine, or basic mechanical knowledge is preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a focus on team performance
- An ability to resolve issues ethically and with mínimal conflict.

**Salary**: $20.33 - $38.13 per hour
