Western Suburbs Soccer, Sports & Community Club Ltd. (t/a Canada Bay Club) is looking for an experienced Club Manager to manage the Functions, Food, and Beverage section of the club. The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination of daily operations within this area, including member services, functions, and hospitality activities, while maintaining compliance with all licensing and safety obligations.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Manage the daily operations of the Functions, Food, and Beverage department, ensuring high service standards for members and guests.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee club functions, private events, and community gatherings, ensuring professional delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise and train staff within the section, promoting a culture of teamwork, efficiency, and excellent customer service.
- Oversee budgets, purchasing, and cost control related to food, beverage, and function operations.
- Maintain compliance with liquor licensing and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers, community partners, and the Club Committee to ensure smooth operational outcomes.
- Monitor performance and prepare operational reports for management review.
- Contribute to marketing and promotional initiatives to enhance the club’s hospitality and events offering.
- Ensure the section’s facilities, bar, and function spaces are maintained to an excellent standard.

**Requirements**:

- A qualification in a relevant industry and/or at least 2 years of professional experience in similar roles.
- RSA and RCG
- Strong leadership and staff management skills within a hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Solid understanding of liquor licensing and WHS compliance.
- Financial management and cost-control capability.
- Professional, customer-focused approach with attention to detail.

The role is full - time.

**Salary**: $80,000 / $90,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience and skills.

Australian citizens and permanent residents will have priority; in your cover letter please specify your citizenship/visa status.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
