**The Opportunity**

BlueScope Distribution is looking for an **Operations Supervisor**to join the team based in **Hobart**. BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium product. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.

In this hands-on role, you will be leading and providing guidance to a team of experienced warehouse team members at our Hobart site. You’ll lead by example ensuring our products are delivered on time for our customers and your safety and that of the team are never compromised.

**What Will You Do?**

With a strong focus on teamwork, you will be:

- leading and supervising our warehouse to ensure on-time and safe deliveries to our customers
- supporting and assisting your team with daily operations
- identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and mitigate risk
- ensuring safety standards are continuously evolving, championing change when risks and opportunities are identified
- growing and mentoring your team to consistently develop and grow
