**About the department**
The Cardiology Department is responsible for the provision of an extensive range of cardiac services to inpatients and outpatients including general cardiology, electrophysiology, heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, echocardiography, cardiac catheterisation, interventional and structural heart procedures, and non-invasive diagnostic procedures.
An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic Pulmonary Hypertension Fellow to join our Cardiology Department for a 12-month (12 hrs/week) Fellowship position from February 2026.
**About the role**
- Undertake research and quality activities, within the department, aiming for publication in a peer-reviewed medical journal and to assist other researchers with projects
- Develop advanced clinical competency in pulmonary hypertension management
- Promulgate and embed recent advances into clinical practice as appropriate
- Promote, participate and assist in the dissemination of the clinical audit processes to improve patient outcomes

**About you**
As the Pulmonary Hypertension Fellow, you will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.
To be successful in this role you must:
- Be a registered Medical Practitioner in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Have appropriate training and experience applicable to the field of cardiology.
