We are on the lookout for a Menu Development Specialist to come and join us at RUOMKY. Working in our state of the art production facility. You will be tasked with developing and improving recipes

**In your role as a Menu Development Specialist you will be responsible for**:

- Create new recipes and refine them through experimentation
- Suggest alternative ingredients and food preparation processes to meet mass production needs
- Refine recipes for mass production purposes
- Minimising wastage by utilising all aspects of the ingredients
- Reviewing the quality standards of the current menu and working with production team to build on them.
- Ensuring that costing of menu items remain reasonable
- Taste testing and presenting new dishes to the founder and Head of F&B
- Preparing new dishes for photo shoots
- Other ad-hoc duties on the production line

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Experience in a similar role or experience as a Head Chef
- The ability to write and develop internal processes
- Experience costing menu items
- Ability to work on a production line (This is a must)
- Ability to make fast-paced decisions and think on your feet
- Experience with producing food for mass production
