**_Amazing opportunity_**_ Our client is looking for Maintenance Fitters / Welders to join their International company based in Dandenong South. Fantastic team-cohesion and get _**_paid weekly Permanent full-time_**_ with overtime available. _

**_Key Responsibilities_**_- _Maintenance Fitters/Welders fit and assemble parts and sub-assemblies made from metal and other materials to make production machinery and other equipment._
- _Maintaining & repairing machines, to carry out preventative and reactive maintenance or repairs to plant and buildings as_
- required._
- _Mark the shape and dimensions of a part to be machined by studying blueprints and using measuring instruments._
- Assemble and fit machined parts using drill holes and tap threads, if necessary, for bolting parts together._
- Check tightness of joints and operation of moving parts, and file or chisel parts to make final adjustments if the fit is not perfect._
- _Cut, thread, bend and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines._
- _Clean and lubricate assembled articles._
- _Shrink-fit parts during assembly, using oxy-acetylene torches and presses, dry ice and carbon dioxide freezing._
- _Manufacture, repair and fault-find hydraulic and pneumatic equipment._
- _Operate powered machines which may be manually or computer controlled._
- _Erect machinery and equipment on site._

**_Experience Required_**

- _Qualified Fitter and Turner_
- _Drivers Licence_
- _GMP awareness_
- _HACCP awareness_
- _General machining - lathe and mill_
- _Tig and Mig welding capabilities_
- _Experience working in a LEAN environment._

**_Bonus Qualifications (but not essential)_**

- _Forklift Licence_
- _Confined Space_
- _D-permit_
- _CMMS experience_
