An exciting opportunity currently exists for motivated, innovative and suitably qualified Clinical Neuropsychologist (or Neuropsychology Registrar) to provide clinical services to the Inpatient Rehabilitation Ward at Sunshine Hospital. This role forms part of the broader Neuropsychology Specialist Medical Inpatient Service at Western Health.
This is a 0.8 EFT ongoing permanent part-time role.
The Clinical Neuropsychologist will work alongside a supportive multi-disciplinary team of Allied Health, Nursing and Medical Staff, to provide Best Care for the community of the West. In this role you will play a key clinical role in providing specialist assessment, diagnosis, management, counselling, and positive behaviour support for individuals with neurological disorders and brain impairment.

- Experience in in conducting comprehensive neuropsychological assessment of the cognitive, behavioural and emotional status of referred patients;
- Passion for working with clients with complex and chronic health conditions, in a dynamic clinical setting;
- Commitment to a Psychology Service that promotes an evidence-based, best practice culture, and supports continuous service improvement.
