Zancott Recruitment are looking for a Social Procurement Analyst in Sydney (Hybrid Working and WFH) for a permanent role.
As the successful Social Procurement Analyst you will be accountable for leading initiatives to ensure companies supply chain is focussed on sustainability, with commitments and responsibilities being effectively addressed and met. The key focus is on delivering all aspects of the companies' response to the Modern Slavery Act.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Planning, facilitation and management of the Modern Slavery Working Group
- Consultation and collaboration with relevant parts of the business to gather input and draft the Annual Modern Slavery Statement
- Lead and support other parts of the business to deliver the 3 Year Roadmap for Modern Slavery
- Project manage the publication of the Modern Slavery Statement including liaising with copywriter, designers and Communications team
- Maintain knowledge on best practice and drive continual improvement
- Represent companies at external working groups as required
- Engage with suppliers to drive continual improvement and support staff with human rights and modern slavery expertise as required
Indigenous Procurement:
- Represent the Supply Chain team at the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Working Group
- Support the delivery of RAP commitments allocated to the Supply Chain team
- Play the key Supply Chain role of supporting and linking business opportunities with relevant Indigenous suppliers. Including; supplier opportunities tracking, key stakeholder liaison and regular reporting of ongoing initiatives.
- Support the Systems Reporting & Improvement Manager with Indigenous procurement reporting (internal and external)
- Assist the broader team to identify and connect with Indigenous suppliers as required;
- Manage relationship with Supply Nation and other relevant organisations
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated work experience in similar role involved in human rights, labour and ethics, sustainability, and or social impact. Ideally within a supply chain context.
- Expertise in labour, ethics, sustainability and/or human rights due diligence.
- Understanding of the Modern Slavery Act requirements.
- Advanced communication and collaboration skills (both verbal and written), with demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas simply to all levels and audiences within the organisation.
- Demonstrated team and project management, analytical and collaboration skills.
- A high level of enthusiasm, creativity, self-motivation, resourcefulness, and effectiveness as a team player with experience of leading and influencing internal and external resources to ensure successful outcomes.
- A pragmatic, approachable and supportive coaching style with the ability to drive innovations and challenge conventional thinking.
- A strong understanding of customer experience and customer centricity principles.
