**About the role**

**Valvoline** has a fantastic opportunity for a Material Attendant to join our team in **Wetherill Park**.

This role is mainly responsible for safely operating and controlling a forklift to move large pallets and containers of goods and materials to specific areas within the warehouse.

**In this role, you will be responsible for**:

- Supplying product line with adequate stock
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers and operate associated equipment when required
- Assisting the warehouse Leading Hand in shifting stock as required
- Adhering to company FIFO policies regarding stock rotation
- Ensuring pallet labels are correct and stock is recoded accurately when allocated to trucks and bay
- Handle product correct and safely and ensure the correct material is stored in the nominated bay
- Ensuring all paperwork relating to this role is completed in full and with the high accuracy

**To be successful, you will have**:

- Current Forklift Licence
- Previous production line experience will be highly regarded
- Mechanical or electrical understanding will be highly regarded
- Reliable and willingness to learn
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Great communication and organisation skills
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
