- You’ll work under the supervision of physiotherapists, assisting with patient one-to-one sessions, group exercise classes, setting up equipment, and maintaining treatment areas.
- You’ll receive support from the physiotherapy team, with dedicated time to complete your Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance.
- You’ll have unique learning opportunities to explore Allied Health career paths within Hunter New England Health.

As part of the Hunter Valley Community Health Physiotherapy team, you’ll be embraced by a friendly, collaborative atmosphere working alongside both Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants across various sites. You’ll have supervision and support provided from the Physiotherapy team, who are very eager to help you learn and grow as a professional during your traineeship.
