Powder Coater

**THE COMPANY**

Suba Design is a growing furniture design and manufacturing company based in the North Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. We provide a wide range of custom-made furniture for the Commercial, Retail, Hospitality, Education and Healthcare sectors. We offer melamine furniture/joinery services, steel furniture fabrication and powder coating all under the one roof.

**OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**

We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Powder coater to join our dynamic team. Based out of Bayswater your duties will consist of (but not limited) to the following:

- Transferring components to the baking oven
- Setting and monitoring the temperature and performance
- Transferring components to the cool-down area
- Quality inspection and rectification of all defects
- Wrapping and sorting of components for dispatch

Applicants must be available for an immediate start and have the right to work in Australia with no restrictions on hours.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Previous Powder coating experience preferred
- Possess an eye for details
- Adhere to company safety standards and operating procedures
- Take initiative to achieve high standards of performance
- A can do attitude with problem solving ability and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and unsupervised
- Meeting strict deadlines - Ensure that all the work is completed on time and at high quality
- You must be a team player and have the ability to work independently
- You must have the right to live and work in Australia
