The Standard Market Company is a retail company that specialises in gourmet food located at the Ferry Road Markets in Southport.

We run a Production Kitchen that produces the product lines sold in-store; including gourmet sandwiches for our Quench juice bars, salads and take-home ready-made meals for our Deli’s. We also produce an ever-changing list of seasonal products which are sold throughout The Standard Market Company's locations.

We are about to open our newly built Production Kitchen and we are looking for motivated & professional kitchen staff to join our already established team at The Ferry Road Markets on the Gold Coast.

What we are looking for - _**Cooks, Kitchenhands & Kitchen Attendants**_ to join our team. _**These are Casual positions that vary between 20-38 hours per week.**_
- **Full availability to work Monday
- Sunday. Shifts will range from 4am-5pm. Weekends are a must.**_

We are specifically looking for staff to join our department from _**4am, making gourmet sandwiches, salads & retail products for our three stores in Brisbane & the Gold Coast. **_
The right Applicant will have:

- Experience working in busy kitchen environments.
- A passion for food with a high level of attention to detail.
- A great attitude with a focus on working well in a team
- Speed & efficiency Is essential
- Knowledge on Food hygiene & safety. Food safety supervisor certificate is advantageous but not necessary.
- Must be available during the holiday season & public holidays

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour
