**YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS PASTOR**

St Stephens Anglican Church Belrose is a church in the northern Sydney ‘Forest’ region, encircled by suburbs like Terrey Hills, Frenchs Forest and Forestville. We’re an evangelical village church committed to sharing the hope of Jesus in our area and beyond.

We have a variety of church service styles over a Sunday. Children and their families regularly engage with our mid-week ministries like mainly music, St Stephens kindy SRE, primary and high school SRE. We are active in evangelism, value every-member ministry and relational outreach. Above all, we seek to be a church shaped and motivated by the grace of God in Jesus Christ.

**THE ROLE**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Serve as the primary pastor of our smaller 5pm Evening Church congregation.
- Lead our youth and young adult teams and ministries.
- Oversight of our Friday night RAW youth group.
- Train, develop, and mentor current and future ministry leaders.
- Work as part of a collaborative team.
- Participate in the local high school scripture team

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A personal and growing faith in Jesus Christ, shaped by evangelical convictions.
- Theologically trained with a commitment to life-long learning and reflective ministry practice.
- Demonstrated experience in initiating ministry and leading volunteers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and collaborative approach to team ministry.
- Must hold a current, or be eligible for, a Working with Children Check and Safe Ministry training certificate.
- Remuneration in accordance with the Anglican Diocese of Sydney.
