**Paediatric Emergency Department**

The new paediatric ED at Monash Medical Centre is co-located next to the Adult ED but staffed separately. We are the paediatric tertiary referral centre for south-eastern Victoria. Monash Children’s new hospital facilities opened in 2017, further establishing Monash Health as a leader in paediatric care. MMC is accredited for 12 months of PEM training.

**About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity exists for trainees of RACP and ACEM to spend 6 to 12 months in the paediatric emergency department. Rotations to general paediatrics at Casey are advertised separately (ideally suited to ACEM and RACP PEM trainees) as well as rotations to community and adolescent medicine for RACP ATRs (also advertised separately). The adolescent medical post is ideal for those pursuing RACP PEM training.

- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications

**How to Apply**
