**The Opportunity**

Our centre's cares for 53 children a day, operating between the hours of 7.00 am and 6pm. We implement age-appropriate programs and educational learning for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. A key focus of this role is to enhance individual learning outcomes by creating an environment that develops the abilities and confidence for each child attending the centre. This is achieved through having a detailed knowledge of quality practice that reflects current trends and includes a collaborative approach with families, children, the community, educators / staff members and stakeholders.

**THE ESSENTIALS**
- **Cert III** qualification in Early Education and Childcare
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of developmentally appropriate practice with children
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a harmonious team environment.
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of Child Protection Legislation
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework
- Demonstrated knowledge of current trends in Early Childhood

The successful applicant will also possess a valid NSW Working With Children Check, Provide first aid certificate and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates. In addition, the successful applicant will also be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical & NDIS Worker Screening Check.
