We’re currently seeking a hands-on and motivated **Store Manager** to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our busy rural store. This is a key leadership role that blends customer service, team management, stock control, supplier coordination, and delivery logistics - ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic retail environment and understands the needs of rural and equine communities.

**About the Role**:
As Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of the store, including sales performance, team leadership, inventory management, and customer experience. You'll lead a small team, provide feed and product advice to a wide range of customers, and work closely with suppliers and drivers to ensure timely deliveries across the region.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the daily operations of the store and lead a small, capable team
- Drive retail and trade sales across stockfeed, animal health, and rural supplies
- Provide expert advice on feed and nutritional products for horses, poultry, cattle, sheep, goats, and pets
- Maintain stock levels, coordinate ordering, receiving, and merchandising
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and local producers
- Coordinate daily delivery logistics, including scheduling, route planning, and customer communication
- Ensure high standards of customer service and presentation throughout the store
- Handle rostering, training, and development of team members
- Represent Canberra Stockfeeds at local events and agricultural shows when required

**Skills & Experience**:

- Previous experience in retail management or leadership, ideally in a rural, hardware, or agri-supplies environment
- Knowledge of stockfeed and livestock/pet nutrition (equine knowledge a bonus)
- Experience coordinating delivery runs and logistics (preferred)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Confidence in using point-of-sale and inventory systems
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain) and ability to assist with stock handling
- A background in farming, livestock care, or animal health highly regarded
