Our maintenance department is critical to our operations at our Tullamarine Plant.

**We have 2 permanent full time roles available**:
One on Afternoon Shift (2.00pm to 10.00pm, Monday to Friday)
One on Day Shift (7.00am to 3.00pm, Monday to Friday)
Each role is for its own set shift - these are not rotating roles.
Our maintenance fitters provide shift coverage for production and attend breakdowns, complete repairs, and perform general maintenance.
This is an all-rounder role and we’re looking for someone who can work as a team and roll their sleeves up to make a real difference to our site. Key Job Responsibilities:
**The successful applicant will be responsible for**:
Working in a safe manner and adhere to safety rules and regulations
Completing maintenance repairs (routine maintenance, testing and calibration ect)
Carrying out modification and new installation works on production equipment
Performing machining and welding as required
Supporting and assisting the production team to support and assist them
Adhering to Engineering ISO9002 Quality Assurance system and Food Environmental Policy requirements. About The Person:
To be successful in this role, the successful applicant will have the following characteristics:
Be a fully qualified fitter with sound maintenance experience.
Ideally, have experience with the following (this would be an advantage but not essential)):
Extrusion, thermoforming, or injection moulding
Pneumatics and hydraulics
Able to work with a focus on Health, Safety and Quality.
Have good fault finding and communication skills.
A can-do attitude and the ability to work in a team or unsupervised.
Have a good understanding in Lean & TPM.
