We have a well-established, and continually growing, team of over 150 staff and 45,000 members across both our Gungahlin and Ainslie clubs, some of which have been with us for more than 30 years

**Objectives**
**Key Responsibilities**
- General mowing and gardening duties
- Maintenance of all golf course surfaces
- Installation, maintenance and repair of irrigation and drainage systems
- Identify and control turf weeds, pests and diseases
- Prepare and maintain all turf surfaces and surrounds
- Assist in construction projects
- Operation, maintenance, and cleaning of a wide range of specialised turf machinery
- Any other duties as directed by Course Superintendent or Senior Management
**Greenskeeper / Groundsperson Position Requirements**
- Certificate 3 in Horticulture / Turf Management (desirable)
- Chemical spraying certificate (desirable)
- Relevant experience in the turf industry
- Experience with irrigation and minor repairs (desirable)
- Competent with a wide range of turf machinery
- Effective communication skills with ability to liaise with team members and members of the public
- Able to work within a small team and, at times, unsupervised
- Self-motivated and punctual
- Ability to perform the inherent physical requirements of the role
- Hold a current Australian driver licence
- Valid, full-time Australian working rights
