- The City of Brimbank is located in the western and north-western suburbs of Melbourne, between 11 and 23 kilometres west and north-west of the Melbourne CBD. Brimbank is culturally diverse and currently experiencing currently experiencing strong residential, industrial and commercial development.
- As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for a small team of enthusiastic staff delivering a broad range of reactive tree maintenance services. This position will allow you to develop a positive team culture through your effective leadership skills, strong customer service focus and streamlined operational management ability. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly skilled and organised person to join our Tree Maintenance team.
- You will be responsible for the coordination of the day to day operations and supervision of the Tree Maintenance team. The role of you and your team has a critical customer service element, responding to resident enquiries regarding street and park tree maintenance that contribute to the success of the Council’s service standards while ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.

**Selection Criteria**
- Essential : Relevant qualifications in arboriculture and relevant experience in tree maintenance
- Essential : Demonstrated ability to deliver the positions key responsibilities and duties
- Essential : Demonstrated ability to implement and improve maintenance programs
- Essential : Demonstrated ability to lead small teams and manage staff
- Desirable : Knowledge of safe work practices and relevant legislation in an arboricultural setting
- Desirable : Physical Fitness
- Essential : Minimum Cert 3 in Arboriculture or equivalent Current Victorian Drivers Licence Current Medium Rigid Truck Licence ESI Cert II Powerline Vegetation Control Worksafe High Risk Work Licence Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Chainsaw certificate Worksite Traffic Management Licence
