**Part-Time Nanny Needed Ferny Grove QLD**:
**Start Date**: ASAP
**Contract Term**: Long-term
**Pay**: $35 -$40 per hour + mileage reimbursement for transport
**Days Hours**:
**4 days per week**
Only required during school term time on the following days Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Ideally split shifts though open to chatting with the nanny about their availability
Mornings: 6:30am 9:30am
Afternoons: 2:30pm 6:30pm
A professional single mum is seeking a reliable, emotionally aware nanny to support her bright and independent 9-year-old son who thrives with routine and consistency. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to assist a child who loves support in staying organised, on time, and confident in his routines.
**Typical Day**:
**Morning Shift**
- After school drop-off: light household duties
- Tidy kitchen, pack dishwasher, put on washing and hang out
- Vacuum floors, tidy bathroom

**Afternoon Shift**:

- School pick-up and transport to after-school activities (e.g. **swimming**, **soccer**)
- Support with homework and **instrumental practice** (reading music is a plus)
- Prepare child s lunchbox for next day
- ** Meal prep** for the child following an easy-to-follow meal plan
- Assist with afternoon routine chores (bins, mailbox, bird cage, etc.)
- Light household tasks: emptying dishwasher, laundry, changing towels/sheets, tidying bedrooms/toys

**Ideal Nanny**:

- A warm, **reliable** and **emotionally intelligent** nanny
- Someone who loves spending time with children and is a strong communicator
- ** Experience supporting children with ADHD, anxiety or mental health concerns** is highly desirable
- Someone who genuinely enjoys creating a calm, structured environment

**Expectations**:

- 3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current Blue Card
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- Non smoking
- Full drivers license and own car (Mileage/Petrol to be reimbursed)
