**The Role**:
Maxima, and Diverseco, are seeking a motivated individual to undertake an Electronic Instrument Apprenticeship as a Service Technician.

The Service Technician Apprentice is responsible for performing installations, testing (calibration), servicing and repairs for Diverseco’s customers.

Across 48 months you will work full time, gain paid, practical experience and study a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control.** You will also receive continuous mentoring from a dedicated Maxima Consultant.

This role is based at the main workshop in Underwood but travel between customers will be required on an adhoc basis.

**Duties Include**:

- Assist with the installation, service, repair and calibration of weighing and measurement equipment
- Deliver exceptional service to customers, in person and over phone
- Test, find and repair product issues
- Quality assurance and record keeping
- Additional adhoc duties including warehousing and in house calibration

**About You**:

- Passion for mechanics and electronics
- Tech-savvy
- Knowledge of hand and power tools
- Enjoy interacting with people
- Love learning new systems and processes
- Mathematics and science are your strong point

**Role Requirements**:

- Current provisional or c-class licence with own vehicle
- Ability to drive a manual vehicle/utility
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment, including a drug and alcohol test
- Certificate II in Electrotechnology or similar (required)
