Despatch Supervisor

We have an opportunity for a Despatch Supervisor to join our Keysborough Distribution Centre on a full-time permanent basis. The working hours of this role are 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Mon-Fri Saturday work occasionally required.

**About the role**:

- Oversee the despatch of furniture each morning and process returns
- Verifying and cross-checking orders to minimise errors
- Liaise with delivery subcontractors and coordinate all loading and returns to ensure timely delivery to the customer
- Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure all goods for despatch meet quality standards
- Check and ensure all despatch is correct and complete on a daily basis
- Maintain the despatch area and assist in warehouse duties as required
- Work with the DC manager to improve and maintain the quality and accuracy of the items being despatched.

**About you**:

- Previous experience as a Despatch Supervisor, furniture experience is highly favourable
- Experience in supervising a team
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- Take ownership and develop an innovative approach to provide results
- A forklift license would be highly favourable but not essential
- Solid communication skills -verbal, written, and electronic
