Castle Hill, Australia Alpha Omega Aged Care and Disability Services Full time

With growing clients in the regions, so are our workforce. Alpha Omega Aged Care and Disability Service is hiring support workers in a casual/permanent basis. The purpose of the role is to assist elderly and disability clients in performing daily tasks and improve overall independence and wellbeing in a home or community setting.

Location: Merryland, Parramatta, Castle Hill, Chatswood, Forestville, and all Northwest Sydney areas

**Job responsibilities**:

- Assisting with daily care for clients at their home including showering, changing clothes, brushing their teeth, etc.
- Performing housekeeping including domestic cleaning, laundry, food preparation, shopping.
- Transporting and accompanying clients when required.
- Social support to improve clients’ wellbeing and independence.
- Perform administrative duties such as always clocking in/out after each shift, making incident reports, and entering shift notes on the rostering app.
- Attend company training and meetings as required.

The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company and the wellbeing of clients.

**About you**
- Confident and calm manner.
- Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely and to adapt** **communication skills to each client you work with.
- Current/valid police check or willing to obtain a new one prior to employment.

Desirable Qualification and criteria:

- Experience on working with people with Disabilities and/ elderly people or
- Certificate Level III in Individual Support (Disability or Home, Social and Community Service) or wiling to upskill yourself if we provide online and onsite training.
- Ability to speak the second language of Cantonese/Mandarin.
- Can drive and own a vehicle is desirable.
