The Adelaide Animal Emergency and Referral Centre (AAERC) is part of a well-established group of specialist veterinary hospitals. We offer a wide range of specialist services and provide 24-hour emergency and critical care through our facilities in SA, NSW, ACT, VIC and QLD. Services offered in our hospitals include internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, oncology, ophthalmology, behavioural medicine, avian and exotics, diagnostic imaging, emergency and critical care, cardiology and physiotherapy.

The
**AAERC** is pleased to offer a new opportunity for an
**ECC Specialist** to join the team at our
**Adelaide SA** facility. With an ever-increasing caseload and 24/7 emergency veterinarians, additional expertise is required for both clinical case management and mentoring of our emergency team, interns, and nursing staff.

**Required**
- DACVECC, ECVECC or FANZCVS - eligible for specialist registration in Australia
- OR: board-eligible and residency trained in emergency and critical care
- Willingness to work hard, lead, teach and be part of our team

**Desirable attributes for this position**
- Willingness to help grow and develop the ECC service
- Willingness to travel to our other locations from time to time
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, pet owners and referring veterinarians
- A genuine enjoyment of helping people and their pets when they need us most

The AAERC offers a fully equipped hospital with state-of-the-art facilities including CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasonography, digital radiology, endoscopy, Idexx laboratory equipment including blood gas analysis, 3 operating theatres, isolation ward, and ventilator, with an MRI on its way.
