The purpose of this role is to deliver Technology Solutions across the business to meet the evolving needs of the Specialised Insurance Group. The role is responsible for the strategy roadmap, and coordinating the design, development, testing and implementation of technology solutions/products supporting the Specialised Insurance Group.

This will be a **full-time,** **permanent **position based in our **Sydney **office, with flexibility to work from home 3 days per week once you complete training.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversee and lead technology systems and continuous improvement of technology solutions to improve performance and customer centricity.
- Monitor performance and analyse fit to purpose of existing products. Design, develop, test, and implement improvements to existing products and support build and implementation of new products (existing products include; Pivotal, WalkMe, RecoveryMate, RPA, websites/portals).
- Act as a SME for Specialised Group for EML technology initiatives.
- Provide expertise and support for how technology can support internal strategic initiatives to improve performance.
- Maintain our customer centric approach ensuring impact to external customers is considered in the design process and relevant teams/customers engaged prior to any deployment.
- Identify and evaluate individual and organisational development needs. Deliver individual and group learning and development programs.
- Be a conduit to the Technology department and manage team workflow to ensure development timeframes are met, results achieved and EML technology governance followed.
- Ensure appropriate attention, management and prevention of risk and governance as it relates to technology. Identifying, reporting and discussing any emerging risks with your Manager.

**ABOUT YOU**
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in leadership, working within in a fast-paced business environment (preferably within the general and/or personal injury compensation insurance industry).
- Experience in the personal injury compensation industry and understanding of NSW workers compensation legislation.
- Experience in RPA development & UI Path is desirable.
- Understanding of designing process for systems and technology.
- UiPath Certified Professional Advanced RPA Developer (UIARD) Certification or equivalent (advantageous).
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and an excellent eye for detail.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic project planning and execution.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Agile project methodology.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
