BAKER REQUIRED TO JOIN A GREAT TEAM

The Brisbane Bread co is a well established wholesale and retail bakery. We’ve 3 retail shops, 2 market stalls and a consistent list of wholesale clients.

Our baking operations are undertaken at our manufacturing bakery at eagle farm where we produce all of our products. We produce everything here for distribution to our shops and customers, breads (standard breads all the way to handmade sourdoughs), croissant products, savoury pastries and sweets.

We’ve a great long term team that get along, are reliable and hard working. All the equipment and space to get our work done.

We have a position available in our BREAD BAKING department for an experienced baker (longterm qualified or recent, competent & enthusiastic late 2nd year or 3rd year apprentice, unqualified but with heaps of baking experience.)

We have some ability to be flexible with rosters and times and some negotiability with salary, although the latter is fully dependent on the agreed rosters and hours. This position will generally see you starting between 11am-1.30pm.

As one of our 7 qualified bakers (across 3 departments), it’s an expectation that you will make a large contribution to our operations through your actions and attitude towards our daily success and working **with** us to improve what we do. This includes working and guiding our apprentices and trade assistants and also cleaning and upkeep of our bakery not just baking and going home. As a qualified baker we expect you to be a leader within our workplace.

We have a very consistent turnover and to an extent can predict what we approximately need each day which allows us to work efficiently and effectively without the need for consistent overtime.

2025 is forecast for significant growth for us which means more bread, more team, more opportunity for our team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $48,955.73 - $90,086.99 per year

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- BAKERY: 3 years (preferred)
