Site Foreman

Caporn Piling is seeking Site Foreman to join our national team. Caporn Piling has over 50 years’ experience in the piling industry and employs some of the most experienced pilers in Australia. The growing team of professionals have worked on some of the largest and most technically challenging projects in Australia. Our head office is located in Queensland and we have multiple projects site based opportunities across Australia.

Caporn Piling provides expert foundation design and construction solutions for large and technically challenging commercial, industrial, residential, infrastructure, mining and resource sectors.

**As a Site Foreman, the responsibilities and duties will include**:

- Supervising piling rigs and crews on site ensuring swift project set up and delivery according to engineering specification.
- Communicating the job to and with the crew
- Assigning crew tasks
- Maintaining work standards and outlining behavioral expectations to ensure crew morale and productivity.
- Ensuring crew compliance with project policies and procedures.
- Knowing, understanding, communicating and ensuring compliance with the OH&S, and company safety policies and procedures.
- Overseeing the execution of the work, including quality and production, ensuring that the crew meets project specifications and timelines.
- Liaise and work with site engineers.

**Qualifications and requirement**:

- Ability to lead the crew across multiple large projects.
- Team player
- Effectively communicate orally and in writing, with good comprehension.
- Knows and understands company and project safety programs.
- Occupational Health and Safety and environmental issues
- Employment standards and company policies
- Read and interpret plans and project specifications.
- Has 5-10 years piling experience in foundations
- First Aid Certificate
- Dogman/Riggers ticket or eligibility to obtain one
- Current Driver’s License
- Construction Industry Safety Card or eligibility to obtain one
- Supervising of (desirable)
- Formal qualifications in Civil Foundations (desirable)

**Salary and benefits**: Starts at $150k per year plus vehicle, equipment and bonus
