**Overview**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized **Building Permit & Administration Officer** to join our team at **U Homes L**. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth processing of permits for construction and development projects. Your understanding of building codes and the building permit process will be essential in navigating regulatory requirements and facilitating project timelines. In addition to construction-related administrative tasks, this role will also involve a mix of administrative duties from a related real estate agency, providing a diverse and engaging work experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Plan Review and Documentation**: Review architectural drawings, construction plans, and specifications for accuracy and compliance with local building codes and zoning regulations.
- **Communication and Collaboration**: Serve as the primary point of contact between our organization and regulatory agencies, clients, and internal teams. Communicate effectively to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the permitting process.
- **Support Project Teams**: Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and support project objectives.
- **Real Estate Administration**: Assist with various administrative tasks related to real estate operations, as required by our sister company.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, zoning regulations, and permit requirements.
- Experience with permit tracking systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to adapt to a varied workload and prioritize tasks effectively.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a Permit Coordinator or similar role in the construction, real estate, or architectural industry.
- Certification in architecture, or a related field.
