**About the role**:
We are looking for an experienced Educator to join our Employee Engagement team on a permanent Full-Time basis. Reporting to the Trade Union Learning and Development Manager you will be part of a values-driven organisation and play a key role in delivering a wide range of educational initiatives for both staff and members. Staff education focuses on empowering our workforce to support the Associations mission and strategic goals. Our education programs are designed to build collective power and deepen member engagement. The location of role is a mix between onsite at our Waterloo Office and travel across NSW (Regional) where some of our members, delegates and branch officials are located.

**Key responsibilities (but not limited to)**:

- Fostering knowledge, building capacity and development of member leader through accessible, inclusive and engaging learning experiences.
- Deliver the annual member and staff trade union training programs that meet the strategic goals of The Association with a focus on building workplace power and member leadership.
- Support the integration of accessible digital learning platforms.
- Ensure education materials are current and accessible and tailored to meet the diverse learning needs of both staff and members.
- Gather feedback from participants and use evaluation data to inform improvements in content.
- Quarterly and annual reporting.

**Selection criteria**:
**Essential**
- Relevant qualification in an education related field and working experience in this field.
- Training, delivery, facilitation and presentation skills.
- Ability to design, deliver and evaluate engaging training programs tailored to a diverse audience.
- Strong skills in communication and rapport building.
- Bring a proactive, adaptable approach to problem - solving.
- Recognised qualifications in the field of nursing or midwifery.
- Experience as an Organiser (highly regarded).
- Demonstrated knowledge and implementation of contemporary organising models and frameworks.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the various legislative requirements that affect trade union movement in the nursing, midwifery and aged care professions.
- Experience developing learning content to support member activism, rights enforcement or public advocacy.

**Desirable**
- Instructional design experience and knowledge of eLearning software / authoring tools.
