**Remuneration**: $31.89 per hour
About the role
The duties of a Part Time Patient Transport Driver include the routine and non-emergency transportation of hospital patients, as well as transporting Day Rehabilitation clients to and from the hospital.
Basic first aid is expected in case of an emergency when transport DRU clients to and from the hospital
About you
**Criteria 1**: Current unrestricted NSW drivers’ licence and a proven excellent driving record - Service NSW transcript will be required
**Criteria 2**: Current Provide Advanced First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation certificates
**Criteria 3**: Experience in driving as a Patient Transport Driver with and without escort, in a hospital setting
**Criteria 4**: Demonstrated patient handling and lifting techniques experience
**Criteria 5**: Demonstrated ability with transport and handling of specialised equipment
**Criteria 6**: Demonstrated good quality communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures
**Criteria 7**: Demonstrated ability to manage time, set priorities and organise day to day timetable
