**The Great Southern Hotel Sydney (GSH-Sydney)** is a busy heritage-listed hotel located in the heart of Sydney’s vibrant entertainment district, offering 176 rooms, and maintaining an occupancy rate of 99%. The hotel is within walking distance of the CBD, Central Station, Chinatown, Darling Harbour and Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centres. The Great Southern Hotel is currently seeking a well presented individual to join our Front Office team in the Casual position of Guest Service Agent.

**About the role**:
**As our **Guest Service Agent**, your responsibilities will include**:

- Ensuring smooth check-in and check-out of guests in a timely manner
- Delivering prompt and efficient service when attending to a variety of guest requests
- Effectively communicating with all departments of the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction and operational requirements are achieved
- Answering calls in a professional manner
- Informing guests of all facilities and services in the hotel

**About you**:

- A commitment to outstanding customer service
- Excellent grooming and presentation skills
- A warm and friendly personality
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Confidence to problem solve without supervision
- The ability to work under pressure
- Previous experience in a Reservations and Reception
- Must be available to work AM or PM shifts on a flexible rotating roster (inclusive of Public Holidays).
