Hoits Technician

**Job description**

Clark Hoist Hire PTY LTD is offering a position as Hoist Mechanic / Technician for Personnel and Material Hoist. Automation/ mechanical qualification and experience constitute an advantage.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

- Perform mechanical and hydraulic maintenance and repair of machinery/ equipment;
- Dismantling and assembling of machinery;
- Keep supply of spare parts;
- Inspect machine / equipment and carry out requisition's maintenance and repair work;
- Visually inspect and listening to machine noise to locate cause of malfunction;
- Dismantle machines/ equipment to gain access to the problem area;
- Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems;
- Remove and replace worn or defective parts or drive mechanism;
- Start machines/equipment to test operation following repair;
- Repair or replace broken or defective parts;
- Keep inspection and maintenance records on servicing and repair of machines/equipment;
- Occasionally required to work on site for equipment repair / inspection / service;
- Perform any other duties as delegated by Yard Supervisor or Management;

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $30.96 - $46.15 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

COVID-19 considerations:
As per Victoria State Government recommendations in place.

**Experience**:

- Mechanical Fitter: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Vehicle loading crane operation licence (CV) (preferred)
- Driver Licence (HR preferably) (preferred)
