As an Educator with us, you will provide our residential Aged Care Facility with education and continuous development to our staff across all departments. This role will be offered on a permanent part-time basis, with the opportunity for flexible working hours.

**What about you?**
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - **essential**:

- Nurse registration endorsed by AHPRA
- Previous experience in an Aged Care setting and developing and delivering training programs would be highly regarded
- Excellent written documentation and assessment skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to problem solve and effectively resolve issues in a timely manner
- Demonstrated tolerance, patience and empathy with all individuals from different backgrounds
- Be someone that strives for excellence, and high levels of achievement

**You will be responsible for**:

- Co-ordinate staff training & education programs with relevant managers
- Liaising with relevant managers in creating annual education programs
- Facilitate face to face training and assessment sessions including participating in the annual competency process and mandatory training sessions
- Conduct staff on-boarding sessions
- Process all ad-hoc documentation relating to education including regularly updating and maintaining the staff education register to ensure compliance with mandatory training
- Utilising continuous improvement plans, complaints, underperformance and performance appraisals to identify skills gaps and ongoing training needs of employees
