**About the role** Located in Caboolture, we are seeking disability support workers with an understanding of Child Safety. You will be assisting our non-verbal 16-year-old male client with all aspects of daily living as well as accessing the community. The shifts are regular and would suit someone looking for additional hours to suit their lifestyle. We are seeking staff who are available to fill the following shifts:

- Wednesdays: 1530-1830
- Thursdays: 1530-1830
- Saturday: 1000-1500

This role is perfect for those looking to supplement their income with meaningful work.

**Your key responsibilities** Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Worker who can undertake the following key responsibilities:

- Manual handling
- Personal care
- Continence & bowel management
- Medication administration
- Domestic assistance
- Behavioural reporting
- Community access

**About you** To join our team, we're looking for:

- Previous disability experience
- Certificate III in Disability/Community Services or similar
- Current First Aid and CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Child safety experience (highly regarded)
- Current driver licence and own vehicle

We are also looking for someone with excellent communication skills, builds rapport quickly, actively engages with clients, has a caring and supportive nature, and who takes a client-centred approach.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $33.00 - $84.70 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 15 per week
