Trades Assitant

We are currently seeking an experienced Trades Assistant to join our client in the FMCG industry. The Maintenance Trades Assistant is responsible for supporting the maintenance and operations team by making sure that all automatic dosing equipment is ready for use when needed.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide support with the setup of dosing equipment
- Assist with training and sharing of information on dosing equipment
- Maintain the availability of dosing equipment for operations
- Conduct planned maintenance tasks efficiently and within the designated time frame
- Keep preventative maintenance plans updated and relevant
- Determine any necessary equipment and spare parts requirements
- Design a system to control and manage spare parts inventory
- Ensure that spare parts are readily available when needed
- Work closely with operations to ensure equipment is properly configured for each product.

**Key criteria to be successful**:

- Prior manufacturing experience is advantageous.
- Previous exposure to TA or trades position
- Good work ethic and desire to get the best outcome.
- Reliability and consistency within your work
