**DEMOLITION LABOURER**

We are a professional Newcastle based company, specializing in demolition, as well as earthworks projects. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic labourer to join our high calibre team.

**Laborer Job Responsibilities**:

- Performs various manual demolition tasks using hand and power tools
- Sorting and stacking of different materials for recycling and disposal
- Work well in a team environment
- Flexible and able to take direction in a dynamic environment
- Maintain all safety standards.
- Maintain and secure tools and equipment on a daily basis
- Assist in loading and transportation of plant and equipment
- High level of attention to detail to ensure demolition works are completed safely and efficiently.
- Responsible and trustworthy to complete tasks safely and efficiently, particularly when unsupervised
- Self-motivated and able to plan work to maintain production efficiency without constant, specific direction.
- Must have a current drivers license and reliable transport.

Our typical work hours are 7am-3:30pm Monday to Friday, however this may vary from time to time as workload demands. While most of our work is in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie areas, we do also work away from the region on occasion.

**Laborer Qualifications/Skills**:

- Construction White Card
- Work Safely at Heights
- Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
- Attentive to detail and alert at all times to ensure safety
- Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
