Venue Manager

Rustica Cafe (In Highpoint Shopping Centre) is looking to onboard A Venue Manager to work in a high volume dining venue, working closely with a large team to deliver on excellence in product and service.

The roles of the Venue Manager is to lead exceptional services everyday. The role requires leaders with great coaching skills to guide and develop our front of house team. You have a flare and natural passion for the industry and take ownership for delivering a 5 star customer experience. Beyond shift management and people development the role will also include a broad spectrum of hospitality management tasks around rostering, hiring, stock management and quality control.

**Key functions of the VM**:

- Lead a team of bar and waitstaff
- Hire and train necessary staff
- Ensure there is a safe, respectful and supportive culture for your team
- Ensure venue cleanliness is upheld at all times
- Be financially aware and delivers on KPIs
- Proficient in all aspects of the operations especially around operational efficiencies and stock controls
- Familiarity with back-end of Deputy, Lightspeed or other Hospitality IT

You are a hospitality professional with a hands-on approach and a genuine passion for the industry.

**About YOU**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Must have experience in leading, motivating and developing a team
- You are down to earth, calm, resilient with a good sense of humour
- Strong work ethic, self motivated with a “can do attitude”
- Commercially and financially astute with excellent attention to detail
- Experience in managing within a large high volume venue

**Wage**:
$80,000 Salary plus super

You’ll be able to pick your days off (One weekend day must be worked)

**Experience**:

- Hospitality Management: 1 year (preferred)
