**About the Company**
This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 9-month contract paying up to $1173.46/ Day + Super. This role is located in Macquarie Park / WFH

**About the Role**
We are currently seeking to appoint a Business Intelligence Specialist with a leading NSW Government agency. The Business Intelligence Specialist, is responsible for delivering business improvement solutions using Azure analytics cloud environment. This will involve developing, testing and maintenance of the business improvement components.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Implement, maintain best practice, integrity, governance, standards and guidelines across the analytics platform.
- Establish and manage effective, customer focused working relationships with projects, users and partners.
- Design, develop and test analytics solutions for agreed business requirements.
- Working in a team of BI specialists, assist business and IT to develop and support BI solutions.

**About You**
- Minimum 5 years experience as a software engineer
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Azure Analytics stack, including Azure SQL, Data Factory, Logic Apps and Storage Accounts.
- Demonstrated experience in Databricks, Azure DevOps, Power BI and the Power Platform is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise communicate with key stakeholders both internal and external
- Previous experience working on a digitalisation project.
