Civil Drafter

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Draftsperson to join our National Defence ICT team on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Design Manager, you will assist our project teams with their drafting workflow. Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
**Responsibilities**:

- Use CAD software to create high quality civil engineering drawings
- Liaise with the project team to ensure that drawings are produced in accordance with project requirements
- Issue drawing and PDF sets - from concept plans through to construction and as-built drawings
- Assist with drawing document control, uploading/downloading files for clients, drawing databases and standard detail libraries.

**Skills**
- Minimum 3-5 years Civil Drafting/Design experience
- Prepare drawings from concept plans through to construction drawings and as-built drawings
- Proficient understanding of AutoCAD
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working on multidisciplinary projects
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
